On Monday evening singer and songwriter Kelly Khumalo’s Undithatha Kancinci studio performance premiered on her YouTube Channel taking more than 140 viewers to her journey as a musician and in relationships, she’s been before, including how she has been looked down at and taken for granted.
“You know when a person is being overlooked, taken for granted and not taken seriously so I think that’s what the title means,” says Kelly Khumalo.

The musical prowess says that in choosing the title Undithatha Kancinci she thinks as a performer, an amazing vocalist it got to a point where she was tired of being overlooked as a talent because she feels she has so much to give that and God has blessed her abundantly where talent is concerned.
“I think for years, even I took myself for granted. I stopped taking care of my craft, gift, and talent seriously to a point where people stopped taking me seriously. So this time around I am like you can never do that again ever because I know I’m highly gifted,” explains Kelly Khumalo.

Khumalo also says that the song doesn’t only talk about just her in the music business but also talks about her being in relationships.
“I have had relationships where I’m taken for granted… And I’m at a place where I’m not willing to compromise who I am and the beautiful gift that I am. The power that God has vested in me and I’m ready to just take my rightful place as an amazing musician,” says Kelly Khumalo.

In reference to Cyberbullying, Kelly Khumalo says that she knows how it feels to be bullied by the public.
“There are certain things I can’t change about me that I’ve learned to live with, that I’ve learned to accept but if it’s coming from another person and it’s not constructive it does affect. We have to stop this. We need to create an environment where a girl child can be proud and just walk around with high self-esteem,” says Kelly Khumalo.
