Locked Up. Feat. A young upcoming Artist ToolKid from Vanderbijlpark.
“The very explicit song is just a mere reflection of how much adolescents in the Vaal feel about this whole lockdown pandemic. We released this song 7 days ago and it has been climbing the charts on SoundCloud,” shares Gully Seth.
Oops! Here’s how we met Gully Seth:
“So basically I am the Editor in Chief for www.mgosi.co.za which fully caters for SA celebs strictly so. But, because of myself being in the media for 11 years now at various media houses. I’ve taken good note that the upcoming don’t get publicity from these houses unless they are big. For me, it’s let me take care of you now. When you’re big you will take care of us too,” Mgosi.co.za Editor.

Gully Seth as a musician aspires to share his craft with the world. His alternative sound sets aside the basic aspects of music by not only allowing people to dance, whereas it evokes a sense of emotions, cut-throat content, and a little bit of light-hearted pleasure to ease the atmosphere.
“The quest to make a mark in the music industry is very important for me as an artist because I have a vision and a mission that I need to achieve. My sole aim is to put African hip-hop on the global map due to the support I constantly receive from home,” shares Gully Seth.
He’s an artist, Sound Engineer, Videographer, Studio Manager and Composer.

When did it all start?
“I started making music at the age of 10. I started off as a DJ back in primary and I was very intrigued by house music. I used to be known as DJ Maestro. At the time music to me was a hobby and I didn’t see it as my choice of career. I was then introduced into the Hip Hop scene and I started producing instrumentals using FL Studio. This is when I discovered that I actually have a passion for this kind of music.

What has Gully Seth been up to?
“I am currently working on my debut album titled: Setheology 3. This is 20 track tape and I collaborated with artists such as MST, Cupaccino, Marlode, Trill Kay, The Creator, Snow Trill, and Axtra Music.
I recently also worked on visuals for one of the tracks titled, D.I.C.K, shot by Stills & Motion Photography. These visuals dropped on YouTube and I hope to see them on television.
I am currently trying to organize more visuals for some of the songs on Setheology 3. I believe that some of the songs I included are going to resonate in people’s lives, so it would be an honor if I can cover this goal through my visuals.

What is Gully Seth selling?
“I am essentially selling my talent to the world. Plain and simple. I make music, and it is only fair to say that not everyone relates to my sound, though I am thriving for those who believe in my vision. It’s never about fame, though it’s about how I can impact the world with my reputation. I believe in professionalism as it is key within this business of music. I make sure that what I am selling is appealing to the public.”
What is the future?
“The plan now is to expand, not only as an artist, bust as a brand. I want to see Gully Gang Worldwide on the charts soon and I can only achieve this if I stay focussed, along with my team.”
