Ex-Pirates shot-stopper Innocent Mayoyo has turned a Slinger to make sure that people stay at home during the 21 days lockdown!

Pictures of him holding a sling and marbles have surfaced on social media.
In the pictures, Innocent Mayoyo is seen holding a sling, marbles and aiming at someone walking across the street from where he was standing (assumingly his yard).
Innocent Mayoyo is the founder of KwaThema – Ace Auto Ayoba u-17 and in 2018 the team was crowned champions in the Ekurhuleni Regional League u-17 at Reiger Park.

In 2017 Innocent Mayoyo’s team won in the u-15 top eight Regional League.
On Monday President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed that lockdown will not be extended… for now. The president also thanked South Africans for playing their part in the first four days under difficult circumstances.
Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on the measures currently being undertaken to contain the coronavirus pandemic. The address by the President follows a meeting of the National Command Council on Sunday, 29 March 2020, which assessed the efficacy of the national lockdown which came into effect on Thursday 26 March 2020.

“It is now four days since our country went into a nation-wide lockdown for the first time in the history of our democracy. This is an extreme measure we had to embark upon in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As (the) government, we are aware that the lockdown has caused great disruption to all our lives and caused upheaval in our economy. But we all know and agree that this nation-wide lockdown is absolutely necessary to save the lives of thousands, even tens of thousands, of our people.
Many countries on our continent and in our own region SADC have embarked on similar measures.

The disease is spreading rapidly in many countries around the world with some 740,000 people infected worldwide,” reads parts of Cyril Ramaphosa’s address.
