Nkanyezi Kubheka’s latest accolade was being crowned the Budweiser King of the Decks, where he performed at BUDX Ultra SA earlier this year – making it his first live performance alongside world-class DJs such as Black Coffee and DJ Snake.
Nkanyezi Kubheka told MGOSI.co.za that the Budweiser King of the Decks competition was an amazing experience for him.
“It’s the first time I am entering a competition in my life and the adrenaline through it, the sleepless nights that I went through trying to get votes, people voting for their favorite DJs. Everyone was talented there and I have to give it to everybody, give it up to the top 3 as well as myself to actually move from the top 10 to the top 3 to win the competition. It is a dream come true and one of the biggest achievements in my life,” said Nkanyezi Kubheka.

It’s so overwhelming, so amazing, the attention I’ve been getting, the public relations run, seeing myself in all these newspapers, television to people loving my music and actually downloading it that meant so much support.
