Actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa says she comes from a family of intelligent and strong women who work really hard, although they were not always in one household.
Here’s a promo of the entire interview below, but we’ve got the story covered for you.
Family of intelligent and strong women
“I come from a family of women who are intelligent and strong women who work really hard. Unfortunately, we weren’t always in one household. I was a bit of a nomad because my mother was still studying at the time still getting her career started,” says Enhle Mbali.
The negative effect
Speaking with Pearl Thusi on Behind The Story on Wednesday evening she says that the only negative effect about having strong women around you is when a man is in your life because you don’t necessarily need the man. She further says that you have the man in your life they make things easy for you or you genuinely love them.
Not trusting other women
Enhle Mbali told Pearl Thusi that she was not so trusting of people, women, especially which is sad because she grew up around women.
Father love
Enhle says that she never had fatherly love because her father was a “rolling stone” and that there are eleven siblings, and almost all of them have different mothers.
“My father was a rolling stone, Pearl. There are eleven of us, siblings, and almost all of us have different mothers. For me, this is something that I took into my life that if ish like that ever happens to me, it’s done,” says Enhle Mbali.
The star says that her relationship with her father was very “distant” and that he was a “pretty” boy who always got what he wanted.
Young Enhle
She says that she was about 5-years-old to understand what life is and she’s not that girl who will look down at people for what they don’t have.
She also revealed that she used to sell Amakip-kip to take away the strain from her mother.
Speculations about her marriage
“They can speculate I have said nothing and Nathi have said nothing. Until we speak, the truth is not out,” she says.
She says that there’s always “stuff” (maybe referring to cheating allegations by Black Coffee) that went out public like six years ago and there’s nothing new to it (her pain). She says if there was any new “experiences” she wouldn’t share it.
Enhle Mbali says that she will share her “story” when she’s ready at her own time, curated by her.
Women addressing Black Coffee as “baby” via DM
The actress also admitted that she does bump into the women that inbox her “husband” but she could not be bothered. There was a time herself and Black Coffee had each other’s things (assumingly phones) and she saw those direct messages from women asking for tickets but addressing Black Coffee as “baby”.
Her In-laws
Enhle Mbali says that when it comes to her in-laws there’s nothing to clarify because they are “cool” this comes after Pearl Thusi brought up reports that her in-laws were apparently not treating her nice.
