After long anticipation, Enhle Mbali Maphumulo has confirmed divorce to internationally renowned DJ Black Coffee.
On Sunday Enhle Mbali took to her Instagram to confirm that she was indeed getting a divorce with Black Coffee, real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo.

“I woke up this morning to an article. I have been called by Journalists a lot lately and I’ve stuck to my no comment and it works for me but I woke up today to something that was extremely personal that I have handed over to the court. It has now made it to the papers. The situation that is happening right now in my life is indeed happening but I would also just like a lot of space with regards to questions and so forth,” says Enhle Mbali.

Enhle Mbali says she does believe that the system will do what is due and what is fair.
“I do believe in every way that the South African system is a fair one and our justice system has been built around creating fair decisions for those who can’t make amicable decisions,” says Enhle.
She says it has been a very long couple of years for her and in all of that all she asks is for silence not for her or anyone else but for her children.

“Everything I have done to this day is to protect my children. All I ever tried to do was to be a great wife. A supportive wife… One that is respectful to my partner and everyone that is around him.
“I have now in me a fight that I never understood but I understand why it was placed in me at this point in my life. It has been a very very rough year but I still stand tall and proud,” says Enhle Mbali.

She says that it is indeed a situation no one wants to see themselves in but here we are.
“I just on waking up today remembered this… We teach our girls to shrink themselves, make themselves smaller. We say you girls can be ambitious but not too much. You should aim to be successful but not too successful otherwise you’ll threaten men,” says Enhle Mbali.

On their Instagram pages, pictures of the couple have disappeared and Enhle Mbali has one uploaded in 2016, while Black Coffee has none up to 2015.
