Earthquake Records is currently looking for female only/male-only afro-pop band and the company is owned by China Mpololo who has been severally accused of allegedly crooking upcoming artists and owing service providers money. Does Zama Afrika know this?
Today MGOSI.co.za can reveal that Earthquake Records is owned by China Mpololo and our mole tells us that this venture is to clean up the “mess” that he created under CSUN’S Holdings. The company offices are registered to be in Langa township in Cape Town, using the same address as CSUN’S Holdings.

Earthquake Records also run a competition looking for female vocalists and the winner was Zama Afrika Bongoza from the Eastern Cape.
After being winning the female vocalist search, Zama Afrika took to her Facebook page to share the exciting news with her fans.

“I’m so excited but also scared at the same time. It feels unreal. The Universe has answered. I said I am ready, so there you go Zama. I am so blessed because everything in my life is going as planned since I was a young girl,” says Zama Afrika.
Zama Afrika thanked her fans and friends for their support, promising that she will not disappoint them.
“Please continue supporting me, I need you,” Zama Afrika shares.

China Mpololo who is Nathi Mankayi’s former manager and CSUN’S Holdings Chairperson was dragged to the Randburg Small Claims court in September by public relations practitioner, Nono Matuwane.
According to eyewitnesses that were present at the court appearance he blatantly lied under oath, misled the court into believing CSUN’S Holdings was not his establishment.
Nono and a former colleague took the artist manager to the cleaners after he severally refused to compensate her for services rendered during May – July 2019. According to Nono, she is owed R15 000 by China Mpololo.

Speaking to MGOSI.co.za Nono Matuwane was not certain whether China Mpololo will appear in court to state his case or not, but he showed up, wearing a black and white jacket, blue jeans, including blue and black shoes, sitting right at the back inside the courtroom. He was apparently accompanied by Kgomotso Matiwane and a certain Charity, supposedly his business associates.

Meanwhile, a Cape Town-based artist by the name of Mkhuseli Nomkala, better known as Khustar thought his dreams came true when he met China Mpololo almost 8-years down the line, the afro-pop muso claims to have been crooked by China Mpololo and to date, he doesn’t know a dime from his album sales, including royalties from SAMRO.
