SABC1’s Uzalo actor Thobani Nzuza claims that he’s been trying to get a protection order from the Randburg Magistrate’s court but he failed as they said they won’t be able to help since it’s still lockdown!
In March the Sunday world reported that three hitmen were allegedly hired by Afropop musician Mnqobi Yazo’s manager Senelisiwe Bhengu to kill the actor.
However, in one of the videos shared by the actor, Senelisiwe Bhengu claims that her “iinkabi” were looking Afro-pop singer Mnqobi Yazo.

“I’ve tried to get protection order in Randburg but I failed they said they won’t be able to help me since it Lockdown. She claims to have a lot of connections and money maybe that’s why law fails me. This has been going on since Feb 2020,” said the actor on his official Twitter page, tagging the South African Police Service and General Bheki Cele to help him.
Thobani Nzuza said that it was his second attempt to get a protection order against Sanelisiwe Bhengu.

“She claims to be very connected have a lot of money, perhaps that is why the Randburg Court was not able to assist me, instead, on my first attempt to get a protection order against her they decided to risk my life by taking my protection order statement and give it to a Sunday World Journalist Ngwako Malatji.
“I have been harassed by this woman since February when she came to my place with gentleman’s she claims to be her zinkabi (Paid assassins). When everything was quiet I thought maybe they have found a way to fix this with Mnqobi without threatening him to dearth. Suddenly, I visited Mnqobi in Fourways and she came like wild-fire on my Instagram saying all of the offensive things and I do not know what to do since the court is not able to help me,” said Thobani Nzuza.

The actor also said that he has nothing to do with the article that previously appeared in the Sunday World early March 2020.
“Everything that is in the article is from the protection order that I didn’t even get when I was in court,” said Thobani.
Thobani Nzuza is a playwright, actor, director, vocalist, and African dancer best known for his starring role as Mdeni in the Mzansi Magic drama series eHostela and Kehla on Uzalo.
