n about 15 days, Joburg’s iconic Old Park Station will transform into an urban oasis as the Strongbow MTV Big Picnic hosts its second picnic soiree on Saturday, November 30th.
Monde Twala of MTV says that MTV Africa prides itself on creating memorable content and experiences that are relevant to its youth.
“This year’s Big picnic is all about celebrating the diversity of youth culture and entertainment, the line-up is a perfect mix for all generations,” says Monde Twala, Vice President MTV, MTV Base, and BET at Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa).
This magnificent event will see the power of nature to refresh with additional performers line-up, which includes soul singers Langa Mavuso and Ami Faku alongside nostalgic hip-hop band Morafe.
In its second year running, the Strongbow MTV Big Picnic will once again infuse music, food and, fashion in a fresh themed urban oasis with stage performances, which will also include Shekhinah, Black Motion, Kwesta and will be hosted by Nomalanga Shozi and Kim Jayde.

The Strongbow MTV Big Picnic, presented in partnership with MTV Africa (DStv channel 130) and Strongbow, in association with 947 and Tiso Black Star will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the Old Park Station in Johannesburg.
