Some folks laughed at the KFC proposal, saying Mr. Hector Kansi was a broke man when he proposed his wife to be Nonhlanhla in one of its restaurants, little did they know that the couple will have a wedding of the year! Could this wedding outshine Somizi and Mohale’s wedding?
Without any delays after the video was posted online, KFC started a manhunt for Mr. Kansi and his wife to be, and the fast-food chain confirmed that they had been found.

“South Africa, you guys are amazing! We’ve found the beautiful couple… We’re meeting Bhut’ Hector and his lovely bride Nonhlanhla. We’ll keep you posted,” they tweeted.
“It’s really amazing to see these brands making a difference. They have proven to us one more time that it is not only about profits but lending a hand to the needy. Other bing brands followed and supported what now has become some sort of KFC initiative to get the couple sorted in a stylish manner.
“We like a man with a plan, Mr. Kansi. We would like to pledge R5000 towards your lobola negotiations nabo Malume,” wrote Lion Lager South Africa.
Total South Africa commended KFC for their good work in finding the couple.
“Good work KFC SA! Let us know when we can get this love story on the road. We’ll be ready to fuel their next adventure,” wrote Total SA.

Huawei Mobile South Africa told KFC that nothing moves them more than a story of love and as a result, they would like to give the KFC proposal couple two devices to capture all their memorable moments.
“Please get Hector and Nonhlanhla to DM (direct message) us,” wrote Huawei SA.

“Congratulations to this happy couple! We’d love to treat them to a 2-night stay, including breakfast at any Southern Sun hotel in South Africa,” wrote Tsogo Sun.
Tsogo Sun asked KFC to DM them so that they can make the arrangements.
“These honeymoon destinations look far. Someone needs to drive them there. We got you,” says Audi South Africa.
FNB says that they are here to help and would love to give the happy couple R5000 towards their future together.

As for FNB, we not sure if the couple is using their bank or not as the money is promised to be deposited in an FNB Gold Cheque account, compelling them to use FNB.

Thanks to these super mega brands for showing South Africa that they can also come out with guns blazing when it comes to helping South Africans. Imagine if this can be done to fight poverty in the entire country.
