Actress Kgomotso Christopher threw a surprise party to celebrate her mother’s 75th milestone. Saying that “mama” did not want anything big!
“I’m finding it hard to post and share reflections of happiness in a world full of loss and uncertainty and pain…I really am…we almost didn’t even celebrate this milestone. Mama said she didn’t want anything big, if anything at all..safety first, and then it dawned on me…” said Kgomotso Christopher.

Kgomotso Christopher said that we must always show gratitude for what we still have to celebrate. Her mother was born in 1946.
“Gratitude always…for what we still have to celebrate…Celebrating the Queen Mother…75 years strong! Her friends, the grandkids, the kids, the niece and nephew, the Mamazala got you and surprised you. #HappyBirthdayMama #Madein1946” wrote Kgomotso Christopher.

Kgomotso Christopher has thanked her friend Vuyo Varoy for putting her mother’s beautiful day together, including Nonjabulo Khoza for their beautiful face beats.
“We need to create as many memories as possible sis, thank you for celebrating her and giving her flowers while she can still smell them… Happy 75th to mamzo,” said actress Winnie Ntshaba aka Khethiwe.

When it comes to education, Kgomotso Christopher is a force to be reckoned with. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Cape Town from 1998-2000 and upon graduation was awarded the Jules Kramer Award for Fine Arts. With this scholarship, she pursued her postgraduate studies at Columbia University in New York.
