IT’S been a long week already! With a lot that we are still consuming as South Africans from xenophobic attacks, protests in the Joburg CBD, Pretoria and other things that do not really feature in this article. It’s a Women Crush Wednesday and this week we take a look at the super-sexy and bubbly Kgomotso Christopher.
Kgomotso Christopher doesn’t watch herself often on Scandal because most of the time she’s on the road from shooting the television show.
Responding to her fans and followers of the show on Twitter she says, “The first thing I do when I get home is to chill with my little ones. Sometimes they are watching and I watch the tail-end of the show. If they aren’t, I hang out with them and do whatever they are doing then”.
Kgomotso currently plays the devious Yvonne on e.tv’s Scandal. She is also a voice-over artist, best known for her starring role as Nox Madondo, a frustrated wife with a cheating husband, in the e.tv drama series 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls. You’ll also know her as Katlego Sibeko on the SABC3 soapie Isidingo.
To any entertainer, education is important, Kgomotso completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Cape Town and upon graduation was awarded the Jules Kramer Award for Fine Arts. With this scholarship, she pursued her postgraduate studies at Columbia University in New York.
She is multilingual, fluent in English, Afrikaans, Sesotho, and isiZulu.
She is also the voice behind MTN’s Interactive Voice Response system and serves as a Non-Executive Chairperson on the Naledi Theatre Awards Board of Directors.
If her Instagram is anything to go by, Kgomotso spends a lot of time with her family from eating out to overseas trips with her favs. She’s been married to Calvin Christopher since 2004.
MGOSI.co.za can safely conclude that Kgomotso is a real black diamond to be reckoned with.
