South African actor and businessman Shona Ferguson remembers his late father, Peter Harry Ferguson, saying that not a day goes by that he does not remember his words of wisdom!

“But my dad was so cool ❤️ and look my beautiful mom’s 😍 Always has her kings back. Pastor Peter Harry Ferguson AKA JACKSON. You’ve been gone 2 years today but it feels like yesterday. Not a day goes by that I don’t remember your words of wisdom,” says Shona Ferguson.
Taking to his official Instagram, Shona Ferguson says that he feels his dad’s presence in the work he does and he’s always said he wants to be as fearless as his dad was.

“I feel your presence in the work I do & I’ve always said I want to be as fearless as you were. I’m getting there timer. I’m going for it with all my heart, putting GOD first. I know you are rooting for your children in heaven 🙏🏽,” says Shona Ferguson.
Shona Ferguson is best known for his role as Dr. Leabua on the Venda soapie Muvhango. He joined the cast in April 2006 and resigned from the show on 5 March 2007, saying he was offered a role in a “major production” that was “too good to refuse”. He appeared in the show until January 2008.

Shona Ferguson later starred as Itumeleng Tladi, the charismatic and powerful protector of his community and heir-apparent to the chieftaincy, in the M-Net soap opera The Wild, from 2011-2013.
He has been married to Generations star Connie Ferguson since 2001.
In 2013 the couple produced and starred in the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville under Ferguson Films.
