South African songbird Lira. left many of her friends and supporters feeling concerned. This is after she suffered a stroke while on tour in Germany earlier this year.
Despite the severity of the stroke, the Feel Good singer has been making a great recovery and recently headed online to share one of many hopeful health updates.

LIRA SAYS SHE CAN STILL SING – DESPITE STRUGGLING WITH SPEECH
The year took off on quite a rocky start for the musician having suffered a stroke three months ago. While on tour in Germany for a performance.
Shortly after the stroke, her family informed her fans that she is on the road to recovery and the singer’s health is getting way much better.
Lira herself appears to be in pretty high spirits as she continues to make progress after the stroke severely impacted her speech.
Heading to Instagram on Monday this week, the songbird shared that she can definitely still sing. Which is surprising to many but we are glad that those vocal cords are still at play!
In the caption she wrote: “During rehearsal of Return to Me, featuring Mzansi Youth Choir. Speech challenging but I can still sing.”
While South Africans make rounds on the internet about how ecstatic they are with this update. The post received thousands of reactions from her fans and close friends who love that she is slowly returning to her former healthy and full-of-life self.
