A joint venture company between Fergusons Films and Tshedza Pictures has just reached an agreement with Duma Ndlovu to purchase his Word OF Mouth Pictures for an undisclosed amount of money!

When MGOSI.co.za contacted Duma Ndlovu on Wednesday morning, he told this publication that he had been saying that he is planning to step down for a while now.
“If not now, when?” asked Duma Ndlovu and promised that a joint statement by all parties involved will be published as soon as the lockdown comes to an end to discuss the future of the actors involved in his productions.

Our deep throats have it that the three Television production giants have been procrastinating to purchase Word Of Mouth, owned by Duma Ndlovu.
Duma is the mastermind behind South Africa’s hit television productions/soapies such as Muvhango, Uzalo, and Imbewu.
It is understood that the hush-hush discussions were stalled when there was a major disagreement over the ownership of Uzalo.

Although Duma Ndlovu created Uzalo, he is no longer involved in the production of it and it is understood that he is engaged in discussions with the SABC about the ownership and intellectual property of the SABC 1 popular soapie.
Another source rubbing shoulders with Shona Ferguson of Ferguson Films and Phathu Makwarela, of Tshedza, tipped MGOSI.co.za that the two giants have asked Ndlovu to sort his problems out before he could include Uzalo in the package of the sale.

Ndlovu is expected to meet with his cast and crew from his productions to explain to them how the sale will affect them and their jobs.
“Actors are still in the dark about the entire transaction. We are worried about how are they going to receive the news, especially during this time. This is a top-secret… It’s been kept under wrap for the longest time. We need to understand that Bab’ uDuma needs to step down and enjoy his pension,” said another whistleblower close to Duma Ndlovu.
The source said that Duma Ndlovu will retire and fully assume his role as a chairman of DUMA Ndlovu Actors’ Academy, otherwise also know as DNA.

When contacted for comment Ferguson Films refused to add value to the claims saying that they do not discuss their business with the media.
Phathu Makwarela of Tshedza Pictures asked us to focus on more important news than causing more panic with things that are not yet confirmed publicly.
