The outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic and resultant restrictions has meant the DJ Knockout final could not be at Dickinson Park in Vereeniging, where thousands annually congregated.
“An announcement will be made soon about a place that would make it more manageable to observe a minimum of 500 patrons as per the requirements of level one regulations. We are strictly adhering to the rules, so, we plead with patrons that plan to attend the auditions and final to help us and themselves comply to preserve lives, including theirs.”
