Dumi Mkokstad whose real name is Mdumusenzi Nzimande was robbed by a young girl using the two-finger skill and she made away with his phone. On Tuesday the Gospel musician and producer took to Instagram to share his dream that was so long to a point it sounded so real.
He Pietermaritzburg native says that he has never had a dream feel so real.
“I woke up and celebrated like a baby… My wife and I were invited to a school seminar and I was going to perform there with Betusile Wabantu Mcinga. The learning building was opposite where we were booked to sleep. Betusile arrived with Malizole Fololo and he had cut his dreads… I laughed at him so much but was happy that He finally had the courage to cut them. He looked funny though,” says Dumi Mkokstad.
Dumi Mkoksta says that later on, he decided to go downstairs, as he was walking on the pavement a young girl stole his phone using the two-finger skill.
However, he caught her in the act and he got very upset to a point he roughly held her by her clothes publicly and aggressively asked her to give him his phone back which she refused.
“She said she doesn’t have it. I pretended to be sort of slapping her but refrained obviously because there were a lot of people around and I hardly resolute to being physical with anyone. So, she covered her face and almost fell. I held her until she gave me my phone back,” says Dumi Mkokstad
Dumi says that students upstairs were actually recording the whole scene that went on for almost five minutes.
“They had it on their cameras ?…. a few minutes after it was all over social media. TWITTER and LADIES HOUSE #TRENDING ??? and the view of the camera made it seem like I actually got physical with this girl. In less than 20 minutes I was Number 1 Trending on twitter being called Trash. People calling me names. The sad part is that I could not explain myself as no one would believe me and even if my story was legit no one would care. I went back to this girl and asked her to do a video with me explaining what really happened, SHE REFUSED and said I will get what’s coming my way,” says Dumi.
He shares that as he was talking to her, her mom arrived after having seen the video and hearing about him beating her daughter in public.
I explained myself she seemed to have already known what happened but asked me for money …. which I gladly gave her, saying I wish I had more but this is all I have R150 right now… As I was talking she got into the car and drove off with her daughter,” that was the end of Dumi Mkokstad long dream ?????♂️?.
