IN a live video on his Facebook page on Thursday morning, DJ Tira, real name Mthokozisi Khathi says he can’t hate Limpopo people because of one “stupid” person who decided to throw a bottle at him. He also used the famous phrase, “the devil is a liar,” and that he’s still alive and kicking.
“I’ll go to Limpopo. I am Malume (uncle) and I am not scared of anything,” he says.

After greeting his fans he says that he’s got big news.
A laughing Tira asks what happened to the scar and he answeres himself by saying that he went to a traditional healer at his hometown KwaHlabisa.
He indirectly says that they used muthi to make the scar disappear and that his eye is recovering well.
“You can’t put a good man down. I’ll be okay,” says the Durban based DJ. On Saturday it’s his birthday and he is starting the celebrations tomorrow (Friday) at Moloko in Pretoria.
As much as he says he’ll go to Limpopo, he didn’t say he will actually go to Vhembe District, knowing that Limpopo has four other Districts besides Vhembe – so this is a very confusing U-Turn. Other Districts are Mopani, Capricorn, Sekhukhune, and Waterberg.
On Saturday he was left with a cut on his face, just below the left eye, after students that might have been drunk at the University of Venda threw him with a bottle while he was performing at the institution during the awe hours of Saturday.
The DJ who had part of his performance recorded live for his Instagram fans says that he was hit by a bottle. “A sign for early retirement maybe. My safety comes first.”
