HOUSE slash goalie DJ Cleo, real name Tlou Cleopas Monyepao got a hot klap of his life on Tuesday when he allegedly pointed out that natural beauty had won backfired after he allegedly plagiarised a comment about Miss SA’s R30 haircut “winning the Miss SA pageant against R5,000 wigs/ weaves”.
DJ Cleo’s point was about the newly crowned Miss SA being an inspiration to younger girls, but he might have used a post that already had the fire burning. He also pointed out that the ‘shallow’ shall miss the point.
Idols Judge, Unathi Nkayo also weighed in siding with the DJ saying that as he said the shallow shall miss his point. “Forgive them,” she commented.
DJ Cleo also took time to respond to a certain publication, that apparently turned the whole thing into a ‘tabloid’.
“But you guys are bored stru (sic). You turned a perfectly positive post into tabloid material… So unnecessary”.

MGOSI’S team discovered that the initial post was posted on Sunday by a certain Mr. Daniel Van Wyk on his Facebook timeline, and it also backfired on him causing more racial divisions between the ones that were for and against his post.
Certain users told Van Wyk it’s enough about Zozibini and questioned him on when he’s giving back the land. Van Wyk’s post had received more than 1000 comments.
Following the backlash, Van Wyk posted another comment saying: “I’m done responding to comments on this post. I didn’t know this simple post would cause so much reaction/ response. So have your say, but I won’t say anything any further”.
MGOSI asks: Do we now judge black women with weaves against those that have natural hair? Isn’t hair about comfort and how one prefers to look? Can’t we look at their intelligence? How they change or attempt to change society for the better? Let’s have this conversation at a later stage, for now, let’s watch Miss SA flourish.
