DJ Fresh, real name Thato Sikwane is the new addition to Cape Town’s Kfm. On Wednesday DJ Fresh made the announcement via his social media pages saying that Fresh Sundaze will be exclusive to Kfm.
Kfm announced that Sunday Funday will have a new meaning in the Cape on 6 October when the popular radio personality takes to the airwaves on Kfm 94.5.
Kfm station manager, Stephen Werner says that the addition of DJ Fresh to the station’s line-up, follows his appointment as the afternoon drive host at their sister station, 947, earlier this year.
“Fresh is a well-known voice in the market, and we welcome him to our Sunday line-up. We are sure Capetonians will enjoy his larger-than-life personality, music mixes and witty banter as they hold onto that weekend feeling a little longer,” says Stephen Werner.
DJ Fresh says that it’s not going to be Sunday in Cape Town, it will be #FreshSundaze and that he’s looking forward to connecting with the people of the Cape.
DJ Fresh says that the new show will reflect the Sunday vibe in the city, interaction with listeners and music to make listeners feel great.

DJ Fresh aka The Big Dawg will host #FreshSundaze every Sunday from 3 – 7 pm and will join the station’s popular Kfm Sundaze line-up which includes Saskia Falken, Brandon Leigh, and Mamohau Seseane.
DJ Fresh parted ways with the SABC’s Metro FM following unresolved disputes between the two parties.
