A certain Koshiek Karan has accused DJ Euphonik, real name Themba Mbongeni Nkosi of being paid by a “property” development company to tell people to buy houses!
And Euphonik has not denied the allegations made by Koshiek!
“Don’t know about you guys but I don’t come from a wealthy family and what remains is that you’re either going to tell the story where you took advantage of current economic climate or one where you sat on your hands and did nothing. Up to you what you choose. Your choice.” – DJ Euphonik 27/05/2020.
This Koshiek said that Euphonik has a paid partnership with a property development company that incentivizes him to encourage property purchases (even if it makes no sense).
“If a DJ who is being paid by a property development company tells you to buy a house, do you really think he gives a fuck about you?,” questioned Koshiek.
Euphonik responded by saying that the brother’s problem was to think he’s just a disc jockey.

“Your problem unfortunately is that YOU think I’m just a DJ. You won’t know coz I don’t care for you to but I’ve transcended to heights you’ll never phantom and will continue to. Yes I DJ and that’s how you know me but there’s so much more to me so do you trivialize who I am bro,” charged Euphonik.
“I lost IQ points reading this. An incoherent mess. Advising people to purchase property during a pandemic is both reckless & self-motivated. Using cheaper borrowing costs as your rationale is fragile & I genuinely hope people don’t blindly follow this rhetoric,” said Koshiek.
Euphonik said that he can’t engage with someone who doesn’t know how to argue without trying to offend someone.

“I can’t engage with someone who doesn’t know how to argue without trying to offend someone. Attack the point, not me. I still stand by “If you can afford to buy a house now do it!”. Allow those who want to take advantage to do so,” wrote Euhponik – you notice we made it make sense more.
Euphonik’s friend also gave advice to anyone who was scrolling through their exchange of tweets.
“‘Cheap to borrow’ doesn’t mean ‘Cheap house’. It just means the financing costs you less. Think about what happened in 2008. Cheap loans, a huge property bubble. Interest rates fluctuate… rather focus on the asset prices. Is the house itself much cheaper?,” asked Koshiek.

Euphonik didn’t let this one slide too: “You assuming people are dumb is another problem. Everyone knows the below And those that don’t I consistently advise them to get more info to the extent that I even did a TV show on it. You consistently like to argue for the sake of arguing.”

HERE THE BACK and FORTH OF THE ARGUMENT:
Koshiek: Unemployment is about to hit 50%. For the love of God, stop encouraging people to dry up liquidity & tie capital into fixed assets. Houses will be even cheaper when houses start getting repo’d & defaults start rolling in. Don’t rush. Being overweight cash right now makes sense.
Euphonik: So the guys who are secure and stable must listen to you and not take advantage? Your advice is selfish but then again I don’t know who you are so I’m potentially having a futile discussion here.
Koshiek: If you knew the below you wouldn’t be posting nonsense on the TL, Euphonik. If you didn’t have paid partnerships with property development companies, would your view be the same? Who knows. Point is – lower rates doesn’t mean it’s the “best time” to buy a house. Let’s be real.

Euphonik: Are you able to engage in any discussion without insults? Mawfuna sithukani isho…
Koshiek: You have a self-motivated interest for people to acquire properties. This is a statement of fact. Quit giving people terrible advice.
Euphonik: You don’t know what motivates me. You really don’t. You have preconceptions about who you think I am and maybe if you can get past that we can have a robust convo. Enjoy your day bro. By the way, I hope it doesn’t hurt your feelings but I’m not an influencer DJs can be owners.

Euphonik continued to say that the ‘stick to Djing’ or whatever they think they know you for brigade are annoying.
“People can be far more than what you think of them. Imagine being limited by another humans fears of who or what you can be.”
Koshiek also told Euphonik that he did well to steer clear from disclosing his self-interests, paid partnerships that taint any property investment “advice” he’s giving out to the public.
