In addressing Mbazo’s concerns, actress Rosie Motene said that Bonnie went to the police and that she can corroborate that they delayed and failed her.
“Bonnie went to the police, I can bare witness that they delayed her and failed her. I was even in the NPA office when the NPA rep admitted that they have way too many cases and are not coping. Too many cases fall through the cracks due to these and many other issues,” wrote Rosie Motene.

The rape allegations surfaced once again when Rosie Motene and Bonnie called off Black Coffee after he posted a poster calling all men and boys to a march against rape, kidnapping, and abuse on Monday.
“Calling all men and boys….let’s meet on Monday,” captioned Black Coffee when distributing the poster below:
“It is great to take a stand and it is needed but the issue is much deeper than attending a march. As a man, when allegations of rape have surfaced against other men in your circle, what did you do? Let us start with your friend and colleague Amaru da Costa,” wrote Rosie Motene.

Bonnie also added what she felt about Black Coffee’s march: “I have so much to say about this…to you. I have reached out to you before. You know about Amaru and what he did to me. You never said a word. Maybe it wasn’t your place… but yeah…”
Black Coffee responded by saying that Bonnie stopped working at Soulistic in 2016 and Amaru in 2018.
“@sisboniswa You stopped working at Soulistic in 2016 after you told me you were not happy with Amaru’s treatment towards you and Amaru stopped working for me in 2018. Then you both started working together again on your own despite all you had said to me about his behavior,” responded Black Coffee.
“This is when the alleged rape happened when both of you were not working for me and when Amaru and I had a legal dispute and this you know. You also know I don’t have any kind of relationship with Amaru since 2018 since he stopped working for me.”
Bonnie also said that Amaru as a manager at Soulistic Music was abusive to not only her but many people that worked there.

“Also… Amaru as a manager at Soulistic Music was abusive to not only me but many people that worked there and if he didn’t like you, you would get fired. Nathi knew about this. What did he do? I love him, always looked up to him as a big brother but he let us down kudala,” wrote Bonnie – @SisBoniswa
