“ARTIST manager Amaru” (as seen on the tweets) has been seriously accused of looting “B”‘s cookie jar. Since Women’s Month, the alleged victim took to social media to name and shame the alleged rapist who according to her ripped her off in February. And the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz has thrown their weight around, showing support of the allegations.
When MGOSI.co.za telephoned “B” (a well-known public relations practitioner) on Friday she referred all questions to her legal representatives.
“Send me the questions and I’ll forward them to my lawyers so that they can call you,” she has since said.
In a series of tweets, she claims that after the ordeal he went on to claim to be her “boyfriend”.
“Boyfriends are capable of rape too. The police did me dirty too and said I have no evidence. I am on antidepressants, seeing my therapist weekly. He threatened to sue me. He can go ahead,” she says.
Early this week she posted another tweet, saying that his (the alleged rapist) lawyers have emailed her wanting her to delete her tweets about the accused rapist.
“They want me to apologise to him for refusing to be silenced by him. They want me to vow not to ever mention him. I opened a case which the police failed to investigate,” she says.
People who were commenting on the allegations kept on asking which “Amaru” and she ignored all those questions, besides responding to everyone else who was asking questions.
Standard Bank Joy of Jazz (using their Twitter handle – @JoyOfJazz) also weighed in on the rape allegations saying that she must not delete jack! Just(ice) must prevail. The war has just begun. You have an army right behind you.”
MGOSI.co.za sent an email to the Festival Producer Mantwa Chiniamadi, on Friday and she failed to respond to our questions, asking the involvement of the brand on rape allegations.
Mantwa didn’t respond by the time of going to press.
The Screenshots have been sourced on Twitter, including the allegations and they’re public information.
