Actor and businessman Thapelo Mokoena has called for a prayer for South Africa, saying that: “The hurt and pain in our country has reached heights I never thought were possible post our so-called democracy!”
The heartbroken Thapelo Mokoena said that there was no gap to breathe, no inches for a smile, and no room for true light.

“No gap to breathe, no inches for a smile & no room for true light. It’s a heavy load. Our People are in pain & have been betrayed from all ends. We’re now at boiling point after boiling point 💔,” said Thapelo Mokoena.
Thapelo Mokoena said that he was disgusted by the misuse of power, which has sadly come to bare its fruits.
“The disgusting misuse of Power has sadly come to bare its fruit. I pray for a solution, my People need it 🙏🏾 Please Pray for our beloved country South Africa 🌍🤎🇿🇦,” said Thapelo Mokoena.
Meanwhile, Kaya FM’s radio host Sizwe Dhlomo said: “Cause aside, Cyril’s leadership skills are about to be tested on all aspects! Racial tension, economy, healthcare, intra-party politics, inter-party politics.”

Actress Pearl Thusi addressed the African National Congress (via Twitter) saying that fighting for liberation and running a country are two different things.
“We are sorry that not all of you were rewarded handsomely for your sacrifices. But the people you liberated should not have to pay for what you volunteered to do. You’re now synonymous with everything you promised your people you would not be. The dichotomy of what you’ve become is not moving us forward. What seems to be an inherent culture of corruption is destroying your legacy,” said Pearl Thusi.
