She revealed all the details in a Podcast with MacG, saying that after she broke up with her first fiance Ben-10 Ntobeko Linda she got back her R90 000 lobola (dowry) paid to his family.
When she was asked about Vusi Buthelezi Ngubane she refused to dwell about him, saying he must not be given the platform and attention.

Zodwa Wabantu told MacG that she loves the attention she gets from young guys, the energy they have, following her around, including helping her with her traveling.
Her reasons not to date old guys is that they will want her to wash and cook for them, saying that we must not forget that she once dated Mandla Mthembu.
“I like the energy they have to follow me around, helping me with my travelling. I don’t want an old man that’s going to ask me to wash their clothes for them and cook for them.
