“We made history together… By the way, I miss you Bulelwa. What I don’t like it’s when she goes out and says I owe her money because you know that’s a lie. If you go down to the books at Universal Music she actually owes us money, and she does not know that,” says DJ Sbu.
DJ Sbu explained that Zahara was getting paid a 50% royalty rate and TS Records was also getting 50%, which he says was not supposed to be like that.
“Zahara was getting paid 50% royalty rate and TS Records was getting paid 50% and it wasn’t supposed to be like that. The contract was she was supposed to get a little bit lesser than that and the company gets a little bit more… Throughout the Universal and TS Records’ Zahara’s career she was getting 50%,” explained DJ Sbu.

DJ Sbu said that when he left the music industry Zahara went on to go start her own company with Sanele and she knows that. She knows that she was a millionaire when they went apart, she had a car, she had money.
DJ Sbu says that he does not know what went wrong from 2012 until 2020.
“I don’t know what went wrong in 2012 all the way to 2020… I am the bad guy now. I am the one who chawed people’s money and it’s unfair. I don’t want to blame her, we all make those mistakes… I’ve made my mistakes with my money management,” says DJ Sbu.
