Sjava, real name Jabulani Hadebe has started the process of pardoning 1137 Twitter prisoners!n Sunday South African award-winning musician
These were folks blocked by Sjava for various reasons, mainly cyber-bullying. Our publication MGOSI.co.za is among the prisoners that the muso is releasing today.
“Good day, today I am Unblocking all the people I blocked. I will never block anyone again,” wrote Sjava.
When he was asked if these prisoners did not change their behavior what would happen, Sjava said: “No no matter what they do or say I won’t block them.”
One would assume that most of these prisoners we arrested when Sjava was accused by ex-girlfriend Lady Zamar of rape – which was later thrown out of court by the National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa.
It was reported that the alleged rape case’s facts or evidence do not support a successful prosecution. Last year, Sjava also posted a video on social media where he denied raping Lady Zamar.
Sjava was born and raised in the small South African town known as Bergville. Later relocating to Johannesburg, he first found success as an actor, appearing in several South African soap operas, in addition to writing music for television series ranging from dramas to dance programs.
Sjava’s album Isina Muva (late bloomer) was certified gold, additionally, he won Best Produced Album at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
Another huge milestone for Sjava was after Kendrick Lamar heard his music. He later appeared on the Black Panther soundtrack cut Seasons, extending his international footprint.
After the release of his EP Umphako, he won the Viewers’ Choice award for Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards.
We hope we also get to be released today from prison.
