Before coming to South Africa, the performer went to London and she the told the story of how she felt overwhelmed by the experience because of how tired she was the entire day. They had a BAFTA screening event to attend to but because she broke her spectacles at the airport, she could not see much of the city.
“Jet lag has me by the gonads so I might as well post tonight’s BAFTA screening look. It’s my first time in London I broke my spectacles when I got to the airport so I couldn’t see much of the city when we drove through it- and I was really looking forward to seeing the architecture. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to explore during the week.
“I was TKO for most the day because my body is tiiiirrrrredT- so tired I didn’t eat the whole day. Those who know me know that that’s biologically impossible. I LIVE to eat. My stomach will literally uppercut in my sleep on some “GET UP! WATCHU THINK THIS IS”🥹So if I don’t smile at you (like how I’m mean-mugging in these pictures), just know that I’m using my smiling energy to focus on staying awake during the day,” said Mbedu.
