The most-loved and watched television series, ‘The Wife’ seems to be taking a break after releasing some of its episodes.
Season 3 seemed to be jam-packed with loads of drama and entertainment as we know the series to be. However, this season seems to be coming to an end for whatever reason.
Meaning there won’t be any new episodes to look forward to this week.
But hearsay the show has become boring since its main characters left and no matter how they try to revive it, it’s just not there.
This also follows after Mbalenhle Mavimbela who plays the role of MaHlomu said her goodbyes on the show.
The show’s leading actress revealed she’s exited The Wife on Friday, February 10.

Showmax has revealed that it will not release any episodes of the show on the following Thursdays 16 and 23. Of this month, February.
‘THE WIFE’ RETURNS IN MARCH
Showmax made the announcement just recently and said it will be replaced by episodes of DiepCity and The River.
The award-winning telenovela The Wife is set to return on March 2. This is after it would’ve taken a two-week break.
The streaming platform revealed on Twitter: “
#TheWifeShowmax izothi shwii for a 2-week scheduling break from next week, but this week, it’s going to shoob.”
Daily Sun reports that the telenovela’s third and final season, which stars House of Zwide actress Gaisang Noge as Naledi Montsho and Imbewu star Kwenzo Ngcobo as Qhawe Zulu will conclude on April 6.

Even so, the viewers seem to be unimpressed with the recent episodes. Fans and followers respectively, have taken to social media to express how disappointed they are with the show.
Seeing that there is a change in plot, where the storyline is not focusing on the characters, Naledi and Qhawe anymore, instead they have broken up. In hopes that they will get back together soon.
