Like any other person, Babes Wodumo has had challenges in her relationship with Mampintsha, but the good thing is that we all work on our mishaps and learn from them.
Early last month MGOSI.co.za reported that Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane was falsely accused by Socialite Tha Simelane of allegedly using cocaine during a live Instagram interview, which left everyone shocked due to the claim that was not visible during the interview.
“Thursday’s interview was supposed to be fun and vibrant, unfortunately, it ended in tears. It was never my intention to cause any malicious damage relating to her (Babes Wodumo) brand. I was emotional and I take full responsibility for my actions, as a host and a close friend, I should have handled it better,” said Tha Simelane in a statement released on Saturday under Nontandaku Bukwa Public Relations.
Tha Simelane said that he was “sincerely” sorry to Babes Wodumo.
“I love you Babes ‘mtase’ and I respect your craft,” concluded Tha Simelane.
According to Sunday World, Babes Wodumo opened the case of defamation of character at Westville Police station on Friday.
The paper also reports that Durban artists and Babes Wodumo are fed up with Tha Simelane.
“We are tired of Tha. Every time he wants to be relevant, he drags the names of the Durban-based artists through the mud,” the paper’s source said.
