Early last month MGOSI.co.za reported that Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane was falsely accused by Socialite Tha Simelane of allegedly using cocaine during a live Instagram interview, which left everyone shocked due to the claim that was not visible during the interview.

“Thursday’s interview was supposed to be fun and vibrant, unfortunately, it ended in tears. It was never my intention to cause any malicious damage relating to her (Babes Wodumo) brand. I was emotional and I take full responsibility for my actions, as a host and a close friend, I should have handled it better,” said Tha Simelane in a statement released on Saturday under Nontandaku Bukwa Public Relations.
Tha Simelane said that he was “sincerely” sorry to Babes Wodumo.

According to Sunday World, Babes Wodumo opened the case of defamation of character at Westville Police station on Friday.
The paper also reports that Durban artists and Babes Wodumo are fed up with Tha Simelane.
