After harshly accusing Babes Wodumo of falsely using cocaine on a live Instagram interview a few days ago, Tha Simelane has now apologized to Babes!

Tha Simelane who has not acknowledged what he was actually apologizing for said that he would like to apologize “profusely” to the public, most importantly to his “sister” Bongekile Simelane aka Babes Wodumo and her fans at large for accusing her of using cocaine during his interview.

“Thursday’s interview was supposed to be fun and vibrant, unfortunately, it ended in tears. It was never my intention to cause any malicious damage relating to her (Babes Wodumo) brand. I was emotional and I take full responsibility for my actions, as a host and a close friend, I should have handled it better,” said Tha Simelane in a statement released on Saturday under Nontandaku Bukwa Public Relations.

Tha Simelane said that he is “sincerely” sorry to Babes Wodumo.

“I love you Babes ‘mtase’ and I respect your craft,” concluded Tha Simelane.

On Thursday evening during an interview with Babes Wodumo Tha said that she used cocaine while on the live interview, of which he received a backlash from people that were watching the interview with some saying that he was lying because they didn’t see Babes using any cocaine during the interview.

Radio personality and Uzalo actor Khaya Dladla said that he was recording his support video for Babes Wodumo with a “very” sad heart.

Khaya Dladla said that she must know that not every we open our hearts to loves us.

“I want to personally say to Bongekile Simelane that not everyone is for you. Not everyone comes across as someone who will help or love you. We open up our hearts to people we think love us. I just want to say that I trust that you’re fine and I am here for you should you need anything. I love you and entire South Africa loves you,” said Khaya Dlaldla.

Khaya Dladla said “we” don’t care who said what and all we need from Babes Wodumo is music.

Tha Simelane didn’t open the comment(s) section on his apology statement, which could mean that he didn’t want anyone engaging with him based on what he said previously.

Babes Wodumo is currently in the process of releasing an album soon.
