US comedian and Family Feud host Steve Harvey has expressed his disappointment about the forever embattled South Africa’s power utility Eskom’s load-shedding which is currently affecting millions of citizens on a daily basis!
In an interview with seasoned journalist Devi Govender, Steve Harvey said that he would like to purchase a house in South Africa, but he would like to be able to walk in and have the lights on.

In expressing his dismay, Steve Harvey said: “Dear Eskom, I would love to purchase a house here. But I would like to be able to walk in and have the lights on.”
Steve Harvey said that the lights were on in Ghana, Nigeria, and Rwanda.
“Why on the continent that has the most natural resources than any other continent in the world can’t we have the lights on all the time? They are on in Ghana, they are on in Nigeria and the lights are on in Botswana,” said Steve Harvey.
In continuation, Steve Harvey said: “They got lights on in Rwanda, but we can’t have the lights on in South Africa? I am very disappointed in that.”

In 2019 MGOSI.co.za reported that Steve Harvey was bringing Family Feud, a popular American game show to South Africa.
The well-known author, actor, comedian, radio personality, television host and producer, said: “This was all my idea. I have great partners with Freemantle, who is the production company of ‘Family Feud’ that’s gone digital, globally”.
Steve Harvey said he was in Botswana last November (2018) and Africa has been on his vision board for eight to nine years now. He wanted to come home and do something in his homeland.

Harvey (then) said that his goal is to have South Africa play against Ghana, Joburg against Durban. That’s his goal to have it that way.
