Sir Trill’s shocking revelation sent everyone on a frenzy. After he revealed what had been taking a toll on him emotionally and mentally.
The Amapiano star took to Twitter and said that he had not been getting paid for songs, which has been ‘tiring and mentally damaging’. This follows after he sent out a tweet thanking everyone who has supported him and his brand. However it seems as though he will be leaving the music scene. Which had many of his fans and followers worried.
On his Twitter timeline, he revealed that he had allegedly not seen a cent for the songs he worked on. Which makes no sense since the artist has a lot of bangers released.
“It’s tiring and mentally damaging. So many hits and I’ve never seen a cent. I’m tired,” he tweeted.
Sir Trill mentioned that he understands the implications that come with sharing his story. But seemingly he couldn’t take it anymore and it was about time he said his piece.
“Never been an artist that talks much or exposes much. This will definitely be a joke to some of y’all. Which I understand. But it’s mentally damaging and exhausting. What are we working so much for? he wrote.

His thread on Twitter had fans urging him to get help on the business side of things. Since things aren’t looking up for him. On the other hand, others suggested that he should name the songs he was not paid for so that they are aware and have a look out.
We must admit, this is worrisome seeing that he is not the first artist to mention how the industry exploits people. Not sure how many have come out already. But as of late, Msaki is one of the other artists that have spoken up and have decided to take a seat back because of the mental challenges that come with working in the spotlight.
Sir Trill is set to release an album titled, ‘Ghost’ this month in February disclosed that he featured the late Mpura.
However, with these news we are not sure what’s going to happen now. However, he mentioned that he had been having trouble releasing a project and believed it was overdue. Hinting that some people who go unnamed were standing in his way.
