South African football icon Siphiwe Tshabalala celebrated his 35th birthday on Wednesday and what a better way to celebrate his big day by giving back to the community of an informal settlement Peacock, in Ruimsig.
The Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor and Bafana Bafana star spent his birthday in song and dance with the kids, including giving them soccer boots and kits. The kids had a blast!
Siphiwe Tshabalala says that he spent his birthday at Peacock and that it feels good giving and not expecting anything in return.
“My heart is full. Maybe we should start a challenge at the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation,” says Siphiwe.
“When God has blessed you enough, he has given you an opportunity to be a blessing to others. We were celebrating Siphiwe Tshabalala’s birthday at ‘Peacock’ this morning (Wednesday),” says the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation on the Instagram page.
The Foundation also says that boys, songs, kits, and their boots were a perfect combo to celebrate their Chairman’s birthday.
The Soweto born footballer made sure that his birthday was actually everybody’s big day as he uplifted the underprivileged children within the informal settlement.
The Foundation also noted that the kids enjoyed super “Shabba’s” birthday all round and they all had a wonderful day.
