CRITICISM has been rife, but Zodwa Wabantu doesn’t actually care what people say about her way of cashing in. As the say goes, “The matter might be different, but the cash smells the same,” she’s moving forward from just a mere nude dancer to an entrepreneur.
She confirmed to MGOSI.co.za this morning that comes 2020 she will be launching her own fragrance brand – Zodwa Wabantu.
This follows a post she shared on her Instagram on Wednesday posing next to another fragrance brand, asking her fans if they’re ready to smell Zodwa Wabantu.
On Wednesday she trended on Twitter on number 1 the entire day following a video of her being seriously groped by fans went viral.
“I’m doing my job as an entertainer. I’ve always been close to my people. When I stood up there I was merely giving them fun using my body. If the guy who is seen touching in the video has a girlfriend she must not go crazy at all, we are just having fun,” on Wednesday she exclusively shared with MGOSI.co.za.
She also told MGOSI.co.za that she doesn’t feel violated by the touching and groping from her fans.
“Those who party at night will understand and those who sleep at night won’t understand. I can’t be saying don’t touch me when we are having fun,” shares Zodwa.
