Simphiwe Dana says she might just “sue” South Africa’s giant telecommunications service provider Vodacom over alleged “harassment” after she received a “rude” call asking her to pay up!inger
Sinphiwe Dana says that she has asked Vodacom countless times to take her to court, yet they keep sending their “minions” to harass her.
“Dear @Vodacom I have asked you countless times to take me to court. Yet you keep sending minions to harass me. Take me to court and we settle this. Please,” wrote Simphiwe Dana.
Simphiwe Dana also indicated that it’s always “black” people who call in a very rude and uncouth manner.
“And it’s always black people who call. On some, ya pay up. Very rude and uncouth. It may be that you’re right @vodacom. I have faith in our courts. Let’s go!” she says.
Simphiwe Dana is not so pleased after she received a call from Vodacom on Wednesday morning: “The call I got this morning. I may just sue them for harassment.”
When Simphiwe Dana was advised (by one of her fans) to call the Vodacom contract or legal department she refused, saying that if the courts prove her wrong she will pay.
“I don’t want to call them. They must take me to court. If the courts prove me wrong I will pay. But it’s telling that 2 years later they haven’t, they just keep harassing me. I just hate being called a liar,” says Simphiwe Dana.
Vodacom did not take time to respond with their copy and paste reply: “Thanks for connecting with us. Please could you DM us more information about your query? We would like to look into it,” Simphiwe Dana also refused to be part of their request for more information.
