Formerly known as Shauwn Mpisane, now Shauwn Mkhize’s reality show Kwa Mam MKhize airs tonight (Thursday) on Mzansi Magic, channel 161 at 20:00 (CAT).
“Frustrations are kicking in ku-Andile and the media is not doing any justice,” Shauwn Mkhize.
Shauwn Mkhize will be taking viewers through her journey as she reclaims her life as a single woman, who happens to be a mother, a sister and, a business mogul.
“It’s centered around Mam Mkhize which goes back to her maiden surname Mkhize. In the story, you get to see her journey. She was someone’s daughter, she got married, she’s a mother and now we get to see her as a single woman,” says the show’s Director Olwethu Mlotshwa, popularly known as Olwee.

Speaking to MGOSI.co.za Olwee says Mam Mkhize was a darling throughout the shoot and they will still follow her around as the shoot still continues.
“She was lovely during the shoot (Kwa Mam Mkhize) and the good thing for me was shooting a story that goes beyond money. When you hear of her you think about money. Now, you’ll get to see another side of her as a mother and a business mogul who works very hard. It will inspire the viewer to know that when you work hard for your money you can do whatever you desire,” says Olwee.

He says that people are really going to meet Shauwn and get to see a family.
“For me, it is the first story of a black woman shown in a powerful capacity. A black woman who works hard for her money,” says Olwee.
While in matrimony, the Durban power couple Sbu Mpisane and Shauwn were known for their lavish lifestyle and lucrative multi-million rand state construction tenders.

August last year (2019) their son Andile Mpisane decided to air his parent’s dirty laundry in public when he took to his Instagram page to castigate his father Sbu for allegedly vilifying his mother using the media.
The younger brother of a fitness model, Sbahle Mpisane says that he’s been in quiet observation of how his mother has been vilified by her estranged husband in the papers and tarnishing the legacy that his mother is building.
