South Africans are at it again! As it seems, the country has woken up to the most shocking news. Just after a top 20 list of the worst South African rappers make it to social media.
A Twitter account called “Everything South African Music” has released this list and has people in their feelings.
Some of Mzansi’s favourite, well-known and considerably great rappers made it to the ‘Top 20 Worst South African Rappers’. As a result, fans have taken to social media to express their emotions. Which are certainly not good ones, hence the .
From the likes of Reality TV star turned rapper Boity Thulo, Nadia Nakai, Nomuzi Mabena, Da L.E.S and many others. We must say, this is bizarre! To be supposedly be called the worst rappers in the country. Under what circumstances?

Like many South African’s who are still in awe of this list. People want to know what determined the compilation of this list.
Self proclaimed music guru Nota Baloyi, took to the comment section of Everything South African Music to air his outcry. Since he deems himself as a person who knows the in’s and out of the music industry in South Africa. He also did not agree with this list alongside many fans.
Nota also finds it quite shocking that there is a total number of 20 worst rappers, whereas, according to him there is not even a list of over 40 rappers in South Africa.
“Being at the bottom of a 20 worst rappers list when there isn’t a list of more than 40 rappers to begin with, is a compliment!” exclaimed Baloyi.
Tweeps have come in their numbers to defend Reason, whom they claim should not even be on the list to begin with.
Also known as, Sizwe Alakine who has twin babies with media personality Lootlove is pretty known in the rap scene as one of the good rappers. Therefore, his fans are not taking it lying down for him to be ranked as the worst rapper in the country.
“Respect Reason why you guys like this, Reason is better than 80 percent SA rappers bar for bar. Thats a fact” Thembinkosi wrote.
This includes Boity‘s fans who are certainly not jumping for joy after their most-liked rapper was ranked as one of the worst rappers in the country. In commentary, followers have raised their disapproval that Boity is actually a great rapper.
This list definitely got internet going crazy and we do not blame them. All we have to say is H for HECTIC!
