Media personality, businesswoman and philanthropist, Relebogile Mabotja, has been named one of Avance Media’s 2020 100 Most Influential Young South Africans announced on Wednesday!

Avance Media recognizes Relebogile Mabotja for the philanthropic work that she’s been doing with her foundation, The Relebogile Mabotja (RM) Foundation.
“I’m honoured to be recognized as an influential young South African for the work that I’m doing with my foundation. It’s great to be recognized for something that I’m so passionate about and to give RM Foundation a platform. 2020 was an amazing year of recognition for me. Now it’s back to work,” expresses Relebogile Mabotja.

2020 saw Relebogile named as one of the Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans (#MG200Young) in the Arts & Entertainment category, she won an SA Radio Award in the category Commercial News Bulletin Reader for station Metro FM, she walked away the winner at the annual Woman of Stature Awards, and wrapped up the year as a recipient of an Africa’s Woman Leaders Award.
In November last year, Relebogile Mabotja also announced a new video series, Unpacked with Relebogile Mabotja, which launched on her YouTube channel.

Raised by Afrikaner parents, Mari’s views on culture and tradition have been shaped by her upbringing. Join Relebogile Mabotja as she explores transracial adoption and identity.
The hard-hitting series hosted by Relebogile Mabotja will also tackle conversations around what it means to be a transgender person in South Africa, being raised in exile, coming out whilst married, the ins and out of the male Adult Entertainment industry, the not so funny side of being a female comedian, and much more.
