In a question-and-answer session on Twitter with Puma SA, South African footballer Percy Tau has expressed that it’s hard and it was very hard to be at Bafana Bafana without his teammate and friend Motjeka Madisha!

“It is hard and it was very hard to be at Bafana Bafana without him and I miss him dearly,” said Percy Tau on Friday.
Motjeka Madisha died in a horrific car accident when the vehicle he was travelling in crashed into a steel pole in wet conditions and burst into flames near Kempton Park in December 2020.
Percy Tau who is based in England said that he will always miss South Africa, and there’s is no place like home. “I miss Pap & Wors the most.”

Percy Tau’s best goalkeepers in all football leagues he has played are Dennis Onyango, Itumeleng Khune, and Ronwen Williams.
“You obviously want to get more minutes on the pitch – how do you remain patient and positive when you do not get to play?” asked Puma South Africa.
In terms of Percy Tau’s Puma Ultra Boots, he said: “PUMA ULTRA boots are my favorite and super light to suit my playing style.”

As we mostly know that playing football requires a lot from a player, such as being motivated, emotional, and physical ability. Percy Tau had this to say about his motivation: “I have to be motivated and strong… it is my dream to play football and some qualities you obtain along the way that help you to handle situations.”
Talking about his improvement since he left South Africa, Percy Tau said that he believes he’s improved over the years.
“I believe I’ve improved over the years and got experience. I adjusted quicker because I was playing regularly,” said Percy Tau.

Here’s his advice for South African emerging and or footballers: “My advice would be to believe in your God-given talent and work hard to make your dream come true.”
“You made your EPL debut against Man City. Describe your feelings before and post-match?” asked Puma South Africa, “My debut was good enough just that we lost the match… before games, I try to be calm and be focused on the match. Post-match, it depends on the results and the feeling with the performance.”

Additionally, Percy Tau said that he was very disappointed that Bafana Bafana didn’t qualify for Afcon.
“Very disappointed, it doesn’t reflect the good work we’ve been working on and it disturbs the progress. It would’ve been great to qualify for Afcon twice in a row,” said Percy Tau.
Percy Muzi Tau is a South African professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the South African national team. Tau began his footballing career with Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns where he made 100 appearances on either side of a loan to Witbank Spurs.
