On Friday some silly person started a hashtag that iconic actress Sophie Ndaba has passed on. But her husband Max Lichaba has confirmed that his wife is with him and she is not dead.
“I do not think it’s funny or good to put (up) nonsense like this about someone when she is not dead. My wife is with me now and this nonsense message must stop. Tell me how will you feel if someone says you’re dead when you are not,” says Max Lichaba.

In 2018 around the same month Sophie Ndaba was reportedly dead but she rubbished the claims.
The Actress last year lashed out over the death rumour that set social media alight and labelled the entire debacle “disheartening and horrible”.
It was reported that just weeks after Sophie, who suffers from diabetes was body-shamed for her weight loss became the target of a death hoax that went viral.

When the rumours of her death broke on the same month last year Sophie Ndaba was reportedly having said that she was in a meeting so her phone was on silent when the rumours started.
She said her son who was at school at the time tried to call her but couldn’t get hold of her.
“Do people who start these rumours even think about what it does to our children or that parents can end up having a heart attack?” she was quoted as saying.

South Africans have condemned the move by whoever that started the trend about Sophie Ndaba’s hoax death.
An actor that was confirmed dead on Friday is former The Lion King and Isibaya actor Andile Gumbi. Gumbi died at a hospital in Israel following a heart attack.
