On Thursday celebrity couple and musicians Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo decided to run to the High Court of the republic, Gauteng division to stop Moja Love from broadcasting their show, Mampintsha West Ink, which was scheduled to air tonight on Moja Love, channel 157.
Moja Love was also instructed to remove any video clip(s) which have been posted on social media as advertisement video trails of a reality show regarding the affairs and personal lives of Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo.

“As you well know, the past few days have been difficult for us, our fans, and our family members due to material posted on social media about us. We noted with great concern your comments and expressions of disappointment at us. We wish to assure you that your disappointment is of great regret to us, as we only seek to entertain you during the times of disappointment, and not the opposite,” reads a statement issued by Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo.
The couple stated that as entertainers they always strive to keep their fans seeing them in a good light.
However, as human beings, they accept with regret that they fail their fans at times.

“Be assured though that we strive to grow and mature not only as persons but as a couple not immune to fault and imperfections. Our closest friends whom we trust deeply will confirm that like all couples, we also have our ups and downs,” reads their statement.
The couple said that they recorded a reality show with intentions to show fans their lives in respect of a company they have built with their support, West Ink.

“We are grateful that you have supported us during this difficult time, and the courts have, with great relief, came to our assistance. This issue is with our attorneys now and we request any other questions be directed to our respective attorneys,” explained Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo.
Moja Love, in their statement, states that they “decided” to not broadcast the program, failing to mention that they were actually compelled by the High Court not to broadcast Mampintsha West Ink.

“Jub Jub as a close friend to Mampintsha and Babes wanted to offer the couple an opportunity to explain the abusive incident. Today the couple decided to go to court to stop the broadcasting of the interview.
“However, because this issue is now in the hands of the court and the matter will be heard on the 2 April 2020. Moja Love has decided to not broadcast the program tonight and will instead flight a double bill of Uyajola 99,” reads a statement issued by Moja Love.
