Norma Gigaba née Mngoma, the wife of the former minister of finance and Home Affairs Malusi Knowledge Gigaba has been arrested, Hawks confirmed!
According to reports Norma Gigaba was arrested by the members of the Hawks at her Pretoria residence at about 18:00 (CAT) on Friday.

IOL reports that their “sources” close to the family told them earlier on Friday that the cause of the arrest was linked to the alleged damage of Malusi Gigaba’s (believed) Mercedes Benz G-wagon, which Norma Gigaba allegedly damaged.
On Monday MGOSI.co.za reported that the Mercedes Benz G-63 wagon has been apparently smashed by his wife Norma Gigaba to the pits. This was due to allegations that Malusi Gigaba’s spitting cobra has spit out of wedlock and impregnated a woman allegedly with twins.

A video circulating on social media showing someone that appears to be Malusi Gigaba (reflecting on the windows of the G63) can be seen taking a video of the entire body damages of the Wagon, with folks alleging that it was smashed/damaged by his wife, Norma Gigaba.
Earlier this week Malusi Gigaba ignored MGOSI.co.za’s means to solicit comments from him.

“This is a Hawks matter because there is more to it than people think, but we will not ventilate that at this stage.
“This matter was referred to us and there has been an investigation. This is only one part of the investigation, there are other serious matters to the investigation,” he said.

Earlier, a source close to the Gigaba family told Independent Media that Norma had been arrested at the couple’s Pretoria home.
This was confirmed by the Hawks on Friday night.
“She is going to be in police custody because a warrant of arrest was issued. She will appear at the Hatfield Magistrates Court on Monday,” he said.
