“Coz of this Corona couldn’t hold my wife’s hand, but our twins are here. Thank you, Lord. Amen,” wrote Dr. Malinga on his official social media accounts.
The twins will now be joining the couple’s other three children.
Dr. Malinga has a stepson from his wife, and together they have one daughter and one son.
Just before she gave birth to the twins Dr. Malinga posted a video of her captioned: “My wife and kids ? tshwara (touch/hold) belly twins gang.”
The Hamanskraal native was congratulated by industry friends and fellow musicians on Thursday morning when he shared the news of their blessings.
“Congratulations to you and your wife Daddy Malinga,” wrote Mafikizolo’s Theo Kgosinkwe.
“Ncoooooh Congratulations pa?,” said Moonchild Sanelly.
“Congratulations brother. God speed,” said DJ Sbu.
Bonang Matheba also showed her love to Dr. Malinga and wife by sending love emojis “?❤️”
Dr. Malinga’s twins were born at the Louis Pasteur Private Hospital Paeds in Pretoria.
In his album First Injection (2014), he released a song titled Boitumelo in appreciation of his wife.
In the song, Dr. Malinga sings that there’s no one else he loves other than Boitumelo.
The COVID-19 pandemic didn’t stop them from giving birth to the twin babies. Congratulations to the couple and all the power to them for going through this united as a couple.
