In loving memory of the late Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi, former Muvhango actress and singer Maduvha Madima will be releasing a video in memory of the late Mtukudzi. The song is titled Nyarara which means do not cry.
“Important announcement you’ve all been waiting for, thank you for your patience,” wrote Maduvha Madima.

On Monday Maduvha Madima announced that she will be releasing a video of the same song that she did with Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi.
“Before his passing… On the 30th of January 2020 at midnight I’ll be releasing a video of the very same song that I did with Doctor Oliver Mtukudzi.
“The name of the track is Nyarara. I plead with you to please support me by downloading the track from all the digital platforms. I also urge you to watch the video from YouTube, it’ll be worth it,” said Maduvha Madima.

“In loving memory of Doctor Oliver Mtukudzi, thank you,” she concluded.
Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi succumbed to diabetes on the 23rd of January 2019 at The Avenues Clinic, Harare in Zimbabwe.
Last year at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Maduvha Madima honored Oliver Mtukudzi’s legacy. She was joined by the likes of Dr. Vusi Mahlasela, Mbeu and Berita as they honored his legacy through song.

Maduvha Madima is best known on television for her role as Vele Rambulana on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango and for her appearance on SABC1’s Gaz’lam.
