Limpopo-born and raised South African award-winning singers, producers and songwriters King Monada and Henny C have teamed up in music for the first time!

The duo released their single Driver Ya Marato already a fan favorite – the first single off love songs maestro Henny C’s new album Love and War. Both Love and War and Driver Ya Marato are available across digital platforms.
Henny C is an award-winning local Afrosoul, R&B and pop musician who began making music 16 years ago, releasing his first commercial album in 2016. His hit albums include newly released Love and War, Tsonga Prince, Tsonga Prince Revived and Levels.

Henny C started singing in churches around his neighborhood of Mphambho village, Malamulele in Limpopo. Through this time while in the house of the Lord singing church hymns in XiTsonga, he developed such a unique singing style, unique enough to get his family encouraging him to pursue music professionally.
His music breakthrough came in 2016 when he released the debut album, Tsonga Prince.
The first single Lovola Money, off this album, received two nominations at the 2017 South African Upcoming Music Awards -SAUMA. It was nominated in the Best Afropop and Best Male Artist categories, subsequently taking home the Best Male Artist. That year’s awards season saw him further nominated at the Limpopo Music Awards – LIMAS, in the Best Afropop category. Lovola Money went on to top radio charts in Limpopo and the North West respectively.

Henny C’s Tsonga Prince Revived, his second album offering, produced a remarkable and successful single, Romeo and Juliet, which reached events and concert scenes in South Africa, gracing amazing stages at prestigious events such as Mapungubwe Culinary Music Festival, Annual Collins Chabane Cultural Heritage Festival, Benny Mayengani Fill UP Peter Mokaba Stadium, XMA15 Music Awards, Limpopo Province Freedom Day Celebrations, Limpopo Youth Day Celebration and Standard Bank Joy of Jazz.
The album also scooped five awards in total at the annual XiTsonga Music Awards – Best XiTsonga R&B, Best Male, Best R&B, Best Disco and Doctor Thomas Chauke Album of the Year.
Henny C’s music is popular in both villages and townships of Gauteng and Limpopo, including countries like Mozambique.

His third studio album titled Levels was played in taverns and radio across the country and in Mozambique. Levels won at least one award Best XiTsonga R&B at the Khomanani Music Awards, further nominated at the Limpopo Music Awards in five categories.
Henny C is also one of the artists featured on award-winning artist Candy Tsamambele’s latest album Still Here on two songs, Yedin and Awu Ngeneki.
