Kaizer Chiefs has confirmed the signing of central defender Thabani Dube. He joins Amakhosi from Richards Bay United on a 3-year contract with a further 2-year option!

“We would like to confirm the signing of Thabani Austin Dube,” confirmed Kaizer Chiefs.
Amakhosi announced that the central defender joins the team from Richards Bay United on a 3-year contract with a further 2-year option.
“The 28-year-old Dube recently lifted the Cosafa Cup with Bafana Bafana. Welcome!” said Kaizer Chiefs.
Thabani Dube has played for football clubs such as TS Galaxy FC, Witbank Spurs FC, and now the former Richards Bay.

He’s played in competitions such as the Nedbank Cup, CAF Confederation Cup, and PSL Prom. Relegation Playoff.
According to KickOff Magazine, Thabani Dube joins the club after winning the 2021 COSAFA Cup with the senior South Africa national team this past month.
According to the football magazine, Thabani Dube spent just one season with the GladAfrica Championship outfit and enjoyed a standout campaign after joining TS Galaxy.

The left-footed defender, Thabani Dube will look to compete with Eric Mathoho, Daniel Cardoso, Njabulo Ngcobo, Siyabonga Ngezana and Rama Mphahlele for a spot in the Amakhosi defence.
