In a statement released on Tuesday Luzuko Nteleko’s family has confirmed that the cause of the actor’s death was brain cancer. He died aged 36 on Monday!
Luzuko Nteleko’s family confirmed that he had died after putting up a “good fight” with stage four brain cancer, which was diagnosed in 2019.

In a statement shared by Luzuko’s sister Nomsa Nteleko, the family said that he fought a good fight until he met his ultimate death on the 21st of June 2021.
“We are deeply saddened and hurt by his passing. Luzuko was love personified. He was peace, courage, and strength. The family will communicate the funeral arrangements in due time. May friends and loved ones be comforted in the fact that his spirit will continue to be with us,” reads the statement shared by Nomsa Nteleko.
The Nteleko family said that it was grateful to his medical and spiritual teams that supported Luzuko Nteleko tirelessly in his fight against cancer.

Luzuko Nteleko’s family quoted the following verses in their statement:
- PSALM 119:50 – My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my position forever.
- PSALM 116:15 – The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
- PSALM 34:18 – Weeping may remain for a night. But rejoicing comes in the morning.
Luzuko Nteleko featured in several television productions, including Zone 14, Ambitions, Muvhango, and Ring Of Lies.
Luzuko Nteleko is a South African actor and entrepreneur best known for his television roles as Loyiso on Zone 14 and as Student Constable Lebogang Chuene on Streets of Mangaung, in 2012.

Having studied at Wits Tech, Luzuko now owns an educational/industrial theatre and promotions Company. He is multilingual, speaking Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Xitsonga, and English.
Originally from Sebokeng, Gauteng now resides in Johannesburg. Luzuko Nteleko’ss birthday is 16 February.
