When filling us in on her latest project, she emphasizes the fact that the movie is extremely scary in comparison to other horrors. She even stated that it was the one project that was exceptionally out of her comfort zone. But after sitting down with the director and understanding the vision, Ayanda could not turn down the opportunity.
Why choose a Horror?
Ayanda says the film aligns with her beliefs and characteristics of herself. It is based on actual events which makes it even more thrilling yet relatable. She says in the making of the film she was fully invested and enjoyed stepping out of her comfort zone. Which is why she believes we will take pleasure in watching it as much as she enjoyed filming it.
Although she can barely watch horror movies in general, Ayanda promises that ‘Every Day is Halloween’ is one for the books. DSTV has posted the trailer on their YouTube channel giving us a glimpse of the horror to expect. About a mother and daughter that continuously find themselves in life threatening events.
Ayanda says “the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” This film has helped her realize what her worst fears are. So it definitely must be worth the wait.
