“Nadia Nakai shoulda been nominated for Best Hip Hop album at the Samas. I don’t know if it’s cause she a female or what but she dropped a great body of work and looking at the albums that made it, she at least deserved a nomination. My 2 cents,” wrote Cassper Nyovest.
It was not long until a good Samaritan showed him where the BIG FACTS are.
A gentleman who vibes by the Twitter handle of @Siyanda_Ceee dragged Cassper Nyovest back to reality, which is that of “competition”, that Nadia Nakai was not the only supreme artist in South Africa, including that hip-hop genre!

“Heeh ndoda which one should be replaced by Nadia Naked? Nadia Nakai album is good, you can take a ride with it, it’s not just a compilation of songs, it’s a nice body of work. But all the albums nominated here were musically and Rap/Hip-hop wise better than Nadia Naked. BIG FACTS,” responded @Siyanda_Ceee.
Others told Cassper Nyovest to chill a bit because he knew that the SAMAs were controversial and he must not act surprised.
“Old heads on the panel they wouldn’t understand my album. Listen, I know my Album is good… I’ve been around too long to know that these awards don’t really mean shit…(showing the middle-finger) imma keep moving… always,” said Nadia Nakai.
